Yeah, yeah! We’ve all heard it a million times before. You need to kiss many croaky, slimy frogs before one of them turns into your Prince Charming. But why must one go through this excruciating ordeal? Why can’t life fast forward those moments and skip directly to meeting Prince Charming in a gorgeous Mercedes instead? (Why yes, I have a thing for amazing cars) To help you girlies not to EVER have the avoidable misfortune of making out (or worse, ending up with!) a toad, here’s a list of the ones you must stay away from!
The poisonous Horny Toad: This kind of guy whose sole mission in life is to hook up with you, in the park, in the movie theatre, in the car, on a plane, in your parents’ room. But when it comes to talking about your feelings or discussing where your relationship is heading he’s nowhere to be seen, not even these places. DELETE! From your FB friends’ list, phone contacts’ list and your life!
The Bull (sh*tting) Frog: Have you ever caught your boyfriend lying to you? Yes? Then he must be a pretty creative guy for coming up with long stories about why he didn’t call you the other night, canceling a date with you to tend to his mother’s ‘illness’ and why he definitely doesn’t think your best friend is hot. IGNORE!
The red-eyed frog: Does your boyfriend spend way too much time drinking pints of beer and smoking ‘stuff’ than he does on you? Does his world revolve around trying too hard to ‘fit in’ or ‘be cool’? If that’s all he cares about, I’m pretty sure he won’t realize that he doesn’t have a girlfriend anymore.
The brooding frog: So you find your guy constantly moping about why the world is such an awful place to live in, why it’s important to carve essays on your arm with a blade and how he can relate to Three days grace lyrics. Sweetheart, RUN for life!!!
There you have it! Frogs, err, I mean, boys you might not want to date after all. I’m sure if you pay heed to these warning signs, you’d be dating that Prince in no time- as you deserve!
